AI, EPS, PDF, SVG: Vector format files are preferred with fonts converted to outlines or curves in Adobe Illustrator. You can refer to the product details page for the imprint area for each product.
PSD, PNG, JPG: These are raster format files with fonts and images embedded in the file. The resolution will need to be 150-300 dots per inch at full print size.
Raster artwork is made of small dots called pixels. When raster images are enlarged, pixels are more visible and the image is less crisp. The image can become jagged and rough.
Vector artwork is composed of paths. When enlarged, the quality of the image remains the same. This makes vector graphics much more versatile and easy to use.
If you already have a design made, please upload your design files when placing your order, or email it to us at info@thatweddingshop.com after purchase. If you created your design on Canva, you can also send us the link to your design under the personalization section on product page when placing your order, or share an invitation to the same email address, and we can pull the artwork from our end.
If you don’t yet have a design made, please leave us your design idea and special instructions under the personalization section on product page when placing your order, and we will do our best to assist you with your idea!
You can send us image files to us from the Internet, but please keep in mind those images typically have a low resolution of 72 dpi to view on screen and are not ideal for printing. Also, these images are often copyrighted. We can, however, just use them for reference to create a custom design just for you!
We offer several products with many different sizes and imprint areas, and we will customize your artwork for the best printing results on each product. You can view the size of the imprint area for each different product on the different product pages under the “Product Specifications” tab.
We may not have the exact font that you submit with your design. This is why we request that vector files have all text converted to outlines. To do this you must select your text, click “Type” in your Illustrator menu and then select “Create to Outlines” from the drop-down list. Save this version of your file to send to us.
If are not sure how to do this, you can also upload the font files used in your design under the personalization section on our customizable product pages. If not available, please leave font names under the same section, and we will do our best to either find the same one or something similar.
